The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (H.R. 3590, known as the health care reform bill) and the Affordable Health Care for America Act (H.R. 3962, known as the Reconciliation Bill or “fix”) together represent a metamorphosis to the health care system in the United States and have significant ramifications for employers.
